Vidhafest 2021: Kalpavriksha-Based Economic Digitization
BANDUNG, itb.ac.id—The Hindu Student Family of the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) held the culmination of the 7th Vidya Dharma Festival (Vidhafest) on Saturday (31/7/2021) online. Vidhafest consists of talk shows with the theme of the digital economy. This event also holds various online competitions from June-July 2021.
Ida Bagus Rai Dharmawijaya Mantra, S.E., M.Sc., Mayor of Denpasar for the period 2008-2021, opened Vidhafest as the first speaker. He raised the issue of "The spirit of working in the Digital Economy Era".
According to Rai Mantra, the digital economy results from the economic adaptation by strengthening technology and digitization. Conventional economic shocks at this time gave a strong impetus to the development of creative economic potential because people were encouraged to rack their brains in running their businesses digitally.
As an entrepreneur, Rai Mantra also encourages young people to start their own businesses. This was implemented in the establishment of Dharma Negara Alaya, an ecosystem of collaboration spaces facilitated by the government.
"We empower this ecosystem to build the creative economy," he said while explaining the importance of opportunities in creative economy collaboration.

The state of the pandemic can be attributed to Parinama is a transformation that will end suffering. The concept of Kalpataru itself has accommodated innovation and creativity in Hindus. Innovation and creativity are highly valued as Kalpavriksha is a provider of human needs and can become the concept of Parinama succession.
The event's highlight closed with the announcement of the winners of the Vidhafest event series consisting of a poster, essay, photography, and discourse competitions. Winners are invited to share their impressions and messages. They also participated in the certificate handover procession.
