The 12 Finalists of the 2022 ITB Outstanding Students Selection Awards

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id – ITB (Institut Teknologi Bandung) held its 2022 Pilmapres (Outstanding Student Selection Awards) on Wednesday (22/6/2022). 12 students were chosen to represent their respective faculties and schools in the final round.

This year's Pilmapres was won by Alifia Zahratul Ilmi (SEEI - Biomedical Engineering), followed by Nailah Shabirah (SBM - Entrepreneurship) at second place, and Muhammad Ibnu Fadlin Shah (SAPPD - Urban and Regional Planning) at third place. On the other hand, Chelzsya Athaayaa Nurman (SF - Pharmaceutical Science and Technology) was the runner-up of the competition.

Other participants who qualified as finalists for the 2022 ITB Pilmapres are Muhammad Dzul Fahri (FMNS), Henry Susilo (FIT), Jesslyn Jie (FEST), Indra Jaya Budiarso (FMAE), Cecilia Natasya Rachman (FCEE), Maha Yudha Samawi (SITH), Mohammad Army (FMPE), and Epifania Desiarni (FAD).

"Congratulations to you all exceptional students of ITB," Dr. Epin Saepudin, M.Pd. declared in his opening remarks. "Through this event, students can do their part in contributing to their country via concrete actions of ideation and innovation."

The 2022 ITB Pilmapres is an annual event organized by the National Achievement Center under the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education. Aiming to deliver the highest form of appreciation to the best students in Indonesia, students are prepared to become agents of transformation for a better nation.

Each finalist has gone through selection from their faculty/school to be chosen as its representative for the next round encompassing the university or institute. The winner of the 2022 ITB Pilmapres at the university level will advance to the regional and national stages as the delegate of ITB.

Candidates had the opportunity to present their innovation for 10 minutes in English, in which their presentation order was determined via lottery. A 15-minute Q&A session led by judges continued afterward. The finalists from each faculty/school are listed below, with their presentation titles stated:
