ITB Day 2016: Get to Know ITB Early!
BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - Sunday (07/02/16) morning ITB campus was full of high school students and thie parents to ettand the socialization of college life in ITB. It was ITB Day 2016, the main event of "Aku Masuk ITB" (AMI) 2016, which was after roadshow and Diseminasi Khusus expedition (an expedition to outer islands of Indonesia). The event consisted of socialization of actual information to get accepted in ITB, scholarship, UKT (Uang Kuliah Tunggal - School Fee), and story about campus life, also motivating the high school students to continue their study to higher education. There were also lots of information booth for the participants to get information as much as they need. The organizers also set up a condition that made it possible to have interactive communication between high school students and ITB students. There were to interactive modes which are Education Fair, ITB Day 2016 Seminar, and Tour the Lab.

The participants were all excited to get to know ITB earlier from interactive booth held by ITB Student Organizations, Diorama Nusantara booth which displayed the documentation and pictures of education in Indonesia, and the other interesting booths in Education Fair. In different spot, there was ITB Day 2016 Seminar as the centered information source which was held in West and East Hall. Tour the Lab was the other part of the event to let the students visited the facilities in ITB.Mix of Motivation, Inspiration, Competition, and Solution
Ujang Purnama (The Winner of Ganesha Prize ITB 2015) participated in the seminar as the speaker to inspire the audience by sharing his experiences in college, organization and exchange program. There was also announcement of the winners of Love Letter to Indonesia Contest (SCUI) AMI 2016 which had been held before ITB Day 2016. The contest was the method to motivate through the competition.On ITB Day 2016, the organizers also got together with scholarship donors to held information booth. The partnership was to support ITB's statement to never drop students out because of economic problem. Moreover, ITB has the commitment to help students financially, academically, even psychologically. The urgency of ITB Day 2016 was to make clear anything about ITB. In AMI 2016, there was something new too, which was the division of Paguyuban Membangun. Thee division was to gather the student organization of certain domicile. "Because we want to be partner with the paguyuban to hold roadshows to high school students," Faisal Rizki (Chemical Engineering 2015) as the leader of Research and Development Division of AMI 2016.
