ITB Honors Service of Lecturers and Staff at Indonesia’s 78th Anniversary of Independence Flag Ceremony
BANDUNG, itb.ac.id – Thursday, August 17, 2023, marks the first flag ceremony in commemoration of Indonesia’s 78th anniversary of independence held at Jatinangor Campus.
This event is not only a historic event to commemorate Indonesia’s independence, but also a chance for ITB to appreciate lecturers and staff who have dedicated years of their lives to ITB.
This series of awards is a tribute to lecturers and staff who have served ITB. 51 have served for 10 years, 33 for 20 years, and 39 for 30 inspirational years. They all received the Satyalancana Karya Satya award from the Government of the Republic of Indonesia.49 more were awarded for their 25 years of service, 23 for 35 years, and 6 for 40 years. They received the ITB Service Award given by ITB Rector, Prof. Reini Wirahadikusumah, Ph.D., who also acted as the inspector of the flag ceremony.
