ITB Graduated 254 Engineers at April 2023 Graduation

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id – Institut Teknologi Bandung had conducted an inauguration procession of graduates and an oath ceremony for 254 ITB Engineering Professional Program Study Program graduates at the ITB Ganesha Cultural Center right after the Second ITB Graduation Academic Year 2022/2023 Open Session was held.

Based on the PSPPI ITB Education Process Report by the Director of Non-Regular Program Ridwan Sutriadi, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., IPU., students can complete their education well as reflected in the index distribution achieved by each graduate. The GPA distribution ranged from 3.0 to the highest 4.0.

Ridwan added that the 1st semester of the 2022/2023 Academic Year PSPPI ITB Education Program resulted in 254 graduates, or in other words, around 98% of the entire student body completed their studies on time in one semester.

The engineer’s oath ceremony and the wearing of “pins” to the graduate representatives was led by the Chair of ITB PII Commission Prof. Ir. Asep Kurnia Permadi, M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU.. After that, Dr. Ir. Danis Hidayat Sumadilaga, M. Eng. Sc., IPU. as General Chair of PII congratulated all the graduates and wished that they would be able to give their best efforts and contributions to the nation and the people during his speech.

Apart from his congratulations and gratitude, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jaka Sembiring, M.Eng. as ITB Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs also expressed his hopes for all the graduates. “I hope that you all can continue to work, think forward and always have the spirit of leadership, giving real contributions to society. We always say that your achievements are ITB’s achievements, like how ITB’s achievements are also your achievements,” he said.

As a representative for the graduates, Ir. Piet Supardi Suryadi, IPU. from the Electrical Engineering Study Sub Program gave some parting words. He conveyed that getting an education at Institut Teknologi Bandung is a very rare opportunity because graduates from various universities try to study at ITB. Of course, the process of learning here requires struggle and sacrifice by both the graduates and their families.
