Retired STEI ITB Professor Rochani Jahja Widodo Passed Away
BANDUNG, itb.ac.id—ITB (Institut Teknologi Bandung) mourns the passing of Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Rochani Jahja Widodo, M.Sc. from the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB. He was reported to depart on Tuesday, 21 September 2021, 17.23 WIB at Borromeus Hospital, Bandung.
“To the families left behind, we pray to God for always giving the strength, patience, and acceptance for his departure with sincerity and trust,” the Dean of ITB spoke.
“Prof. Rochani was a polite and respectful individual towards both his seniors and juniors. Many achievements and services are accomplished by him, in which I could not mention them one by one.”
Prof. Rochani graduated from ITB’s electrical engineering program in 1962 before continuing his magistrate studies at the University of Kentucky, the USA in 1964. He earned his doctorate in ITB’s Engineering Science major in 1985.
