The event was held at CRCS Multipurpose Hall 3rd Floor, ITB Ganesha Campus. About 300 students from a multitude of majors along with several ITB lecturers attended the occasion.

The Director of Student Affairs of ITB, G. Prasetyo Adhitama, opened the event. He hopes that the event could be beneficial for students as they would soon be directly involved in the industry and become the successors of the renewable energy sector.

The speakers of the event were Fadli Rahman, Director of Strategic Planning & Business Development, and Norman Ginting, Director of Project & Operations. Both are graduates of Petroleum Engineering ITB and Chemical Engineering ITB respectively.

PNRE has a specific vision of "energizing people and the planet with green energy" and a mission of "leading Pertamina's energy transition to net zero emission". Pertamina's commitment to pioneering the energy transition in Indonesia materialized in many successful innovations such as EV Battery Clean Energy, Biofuels, as well as Carbon Capture & Storage.

According to Norman Ginting, gas remained the top priority of Indonesia's energy source. However, it was still imperative that both its processing and product must be low emissions.

Energy development in Indonesia can be run decentralized, as shown by the construction of solar power plants across the country. Other projects that have been implemented and focused on targets in the future include geothermal, solar PV, biogas or biomass, and gas-to-power. The seminar was closed with a green talk between PNRE leaders and attending students, in which many critical questions were raised by ITB students regarding renewable energy.
