The competition was held by Universitas Indonesia’s Executive Student Body (ESB) targeted for undergraduate students. Presenting the theme of “Igniting Innovation: Advancing Business Ideas through Collaborative and Visionary Strategies”, the competition aims to create learning potential, knowledge sharing, and improving critical thinking ability as well as team collaboration in completing a given business case.

In this competition, the Bangan Team solved a case contributed by the company ‘Titipku’. ‘Titipku’ is an online shopping application that provides groceries, vegetables, fruits, even fresh meat. The team’s innovative idea was titled ‘#VITALizingTheLocals: Igniting Innovations in Titipku to Amplify Market Prosperity". Andina revealed the background for this idea, “as home cooking recently became a trend, and the selective tendency of buyers in their buying habit on the marketplace.

”The pitch desk was held in the Ministry of Investment’s Building, West Jakarta, 30th September 2023. Even with limited time to prepare, the Bangan Team organized strategies to divide their work, focusing on data analysis, solution implementation, and design. They successfully solved the challenge of tight deadlines through harnessing each of their own abilities as a team. In one of the meeting sessions, a mentor was provided to provide feedback and ideas for a few teams.

A notable moment was during the preparation, where they must compose an executive summary within a period of three days. Moreover, it was nearing the first day of the semester. The team worked hard until late night in a café to finish that task.
