ITB Won 3 Gold, 4 Silver, 2 Bronze and 1 Favorite Award in PIMNAS XXIV
BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - ITB won 3 gold and 2 silver for poster category, while at the same time winning 2 silver, 2 bronze and 1 favorite award for presentation category in Student National Science Fair (PIMNAS) XXIV. With these medals, ITB ranked ninth nationally in the prestigious national students event that took place on Monday to Thursday (18-21/07/11) at Hasanuddin University, Makassar.

Gold medals of the poster category are achieved by the PKMK team led by Yeris Permata Octarina with the title 'Jaketrans. Transforming Jacket As a Practical and Innovative Business Opportunity for Modern Fashion World'; PKMT team led by Mohammad Ikhsan with the title 'Application of Movie Technology As a Publication Tool for Educational Institutions' Work in Indonesia'; and the PKMP team led by Denli with the title 'Lignin Conversion To Surfactant'.
For the silver medals, they were won by PKMP team led by Habiburahman under the title of 'The use of B-Carotene, Rhodamine B and Malachite Green For Solar Cells Semiconductor Materials' and PKMT team led by Bani Idham Muttaqien with the title 'The Development and Use of Web-based Geographic Information System (EB-SIG) For Young Asgar Trip Travel'
As for the presentation category, silver medals were won by PKMT team led by Mohammad Ikhsan and PKMGT team led by Shofarul Wustoni with the title 'Innovation of Salt Production Process For The Independence of Indonesia'. Bronze medals were won by PKMK team led by Yeris Permata Octarina and PKMGT team led by Iswiati with the title 'Integrated Early Warning System of Marine Disasters on the South Coast of West Java'. Last, Favorite Award was achieved by PKMT team led by Aditya Banuaji with the title 'Poultry Farm Optimization Using ACEF - Automatic Chicken Feeder'.
