This time, OGFEST 2013 used "Human Integrity, Empowering Technology & Environmental Tranquility" as its theme that reflects how the needs of the oil and gas industry today. It is expected that this festival is able to open the mind and awaken the student will need to develop new technologies to shape our future and the need to preserve the environment. In this OGFEST 2013 event also emphasized the value and role of any society members that play a role in the oil and gas industry at every opportunity and the challenge to always answer the right technology. It is everyone's responsibility to educate a new generation by creating opportunities and media for the new generation to maximize creativity and create new technological ideas.

Some of the ITB students receive direct support from  the Society of Petroleum Engineers ( SPE ) ITB and several companies in the delegation fund expenditures . In the oil field rig design , ITB won 1st place ( Grand Prize ) . ITB delegation was represented by a team consisting of Aldia Syamsudhuha ( Petroleum Engineering 2010) , Iqbal Tri Putra ( Petroleum Engineering 2010) , Nelly Irmawati ( Petroleum Engineering 2010) , and Ronald Sukianto ( Mechanical Engineering 2010) . ITB delegation succeeded in designing a rig that is very lightweight jacket but can withstand large loads on it .

At paper presentation contest , ITB delegation was no less remarkable . Three out of a total of four titles had been won by representatives of ITB . ITB delegation earned a 2nd place ( 1st Runner Up ) presented by Muhammad Taufiq Hidayat ( Petroleum Engineering 2010 ) and 3rd place ( 2nd Runner Up ) on behalf Farizal Essential ( Petroleum Engineering 2010 ) . Not quite up there , ITB also won the Best Paper Presenter achieved again by Muhammad Taufiq Hidayat . In the event, participants are required to offer solutions and innovations from the research results that can be used to overcome the technical and economic problems in the oil and gas industry .

In a green field photography contest , ITB also managed to register his name on the board champion . ITB won 1st Place ( Grand Prize ) in the name Afif Rikza Arifina ( Petroleum Engineering 2010) . In such event , Rikza who loved photography featuring activities and presented a photograph titled " Superman and The Pile of Garbage " . Outstanding presentation shown by Rikza which tells the story of one of the garbage problem in the city of Bandung related to energy utilization .

In addition to competition , the ITB representatives also participated in various other series of events that have been prepared by the committee OGFEST 2013 , as Benchmarking SPE , Oil and Gas Industry Exhibition , Industrial Training , BBQ Night , and gathering . There is one interesting thing that happens when the Closing Ceremony OGFEST 2013. The ITB delegation gathered and chanted loudly "Salam Ganesha"  which then accompanied by a standing applause from the participants from other countries . From this activity , ITB delegation will continue to struggle to keep looking for a solution and apply it in real life with the confidence to tackle a wide range of the nation's problems , particularly in the energy field .
