The Center for Research on Infrastructure and Regional (CRIR) was created to help Indonesia use science and knowledge to find practical, long and medium term solutions to poverty problems and environmental problems. Support provided by the organization is directed toward building research capacity to sustain policies and technologies Indonesia need to build a more prosperous society by supporting multidisciplinary, problem-oriented research. Core competencies of this organization are Regional Analysis and Planning, Environmental Management, and Infrastructure Planning.
