The Rector of ITB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, M.T., attended the 6th Joint Working Group (JWG) Japan-Indonesia Conference held at Hasanuddin University, Makassar, from July 10–12, 2025. The conference brought together university leaders from Indonesia and Japan to strengthen academic and research cooperation in response to the growing challenges of the global landscape.
The JWG Forum serves as a strategic platform to promote cross-disciplinary collaboration through various initiatives such as joint research, faculty and student exchanges, seminars, and scientific publications. Through its active participation, ITB reaffirms its commitment to building impactful global partnerships in the fields of sustainable development, marine science, technology, and cultural exchange.
Prof. Tata’s presence at the conference reflects ITB’s vision to continuously expand its international role and contribution, while fostering an innovative and collaborative higher education ecosystem to address the complexities of today’s world.
