Rector of ITB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, M.T., officially opened the 12th Damas Soap Box Derby 2025 at Sabuga ITB on Saturday (October 18, 2025). Prof. Tata stated that beyond being a racing event, this year’s competition—held in collaboration with the 2025 ITB Art Market—also serves as a creative platform for participants, ranging from vocational high school students to the general public from Bandung to Jakarta, to design and build their own soap box cars.
