The Joy of Fun Run at ITB Jatifest 2023: Excitement of Competing to Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle
JATINANGOR, itb.ac.id – Jatifest ITB 2023 was successfully held on Saturday (2/9/2023) at ITB Jatinangor Campus. This event focuses on the theme ‘Green Culture for a Better Future’ and offers various entertaining activities. One of them was a fun run, which served as the opening ceremony for Jatifest ITB 2023.
Through the fun run activity, participants had the opportunity to explore the ITB Jatinangor Campus environment. The participants will go around from Loji Park to the finish line at ITB Jatinangor Rectorate Building. This event not only promoted physical fitness but also encouraged a healthy lifestyle, aligning with the values of health upheld by ITB.
During the fun run, participants covered a 2.8 km route with a total of 300 runners representing diverse age groups and backgrounds. The event started at 05:00 WIB and participants enthusiastically ran amidst the beauty of ITB Jatinangor.
There are 8 categories in this event, including men and women under 40 years old, men and women aged 40-50, men and women aged 50-60, and men and women over 60 years old. To add the excitement in this competition, each category had first, second, and third-place winners.
At the end of the fun run, a rewarding session was held to honor the winners. They were awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals, as well as merchandise from ITB.

Enthusiasm and participation of individuals from various age groups and backgrounds truly infused a sense of healthy competition and inspiration into all those in attendance. This event serves as more than just an opportunity to admire the beauty of ITB Jatinangor campus environment, it also serves as a platform for encouraging and promoting a healthy lifestyle and upholding the values of health that ITB stands for.
