BANDUNG, itb.ac.id--Chairman of ITB Transformation Team 2021-2025, Prof. Dr. Delik Hudalah, S.T., M.T., M.Sc., explained that in the period of 2023-2024, ITB will begin to benefit from the multi-campus system that is currently being developed. The multi-campus system aims to expand the capacity of ITB in encompassing excellent resources.

He conveyed, in the 6th ITB Talks on Thursday (6/5/2021), that the multi-campus procurement is expected to create a good educational environment in the community, thus its existence can explicitly prosper the social and economic side of the local community.

Prof. Delik said that Jatinangor campus will open a new parallel study program, i.e. Informatics Engineering, Information Systems and Technology, Visual Communication Design and Entrepreneurship, in the near future. Utilizing the implementation of a flexible curriculum, the quality of multi-campus campuses will be as excellent as the main campus.

"Lastly, in the period of 2024-2025, the center of excellence in entrepreneurial activities will be achieved by developing local-global strategic partnerships and conducting commercialization of research to strengthen national industries," he said.

Prof. Delik explained that the qualitative indicators of a successful multi-campus program are the creation of a conducive academic atmosphere and the quality enhancement of ITB resources, which become the most important assessments to achieve national and world reputation.

Furthermore, one of the quantitative indicators is mainly based on ITB ranking in QS WURs which proves the capacity of ITB to be the world's top university. Therefore, most of ITB progress indicators in Renstra are taken from the assessment of QS WURs as world-renowned university assessors. Nonetheless, there are many other indicators to be considered thus adding to the competitiveness of ITB in various areas of excellence.
