BANDUNG, itb.ac.id— Institut Teknologi Bandung awarded 55 lecturers for their achievements in the fields of teaching, research, innovation and creation, and institutional development for the advancement of ITB and Indonesia. The award was given at the ITB 62nd Dies Natalis, Tuesday (2/3/2021).

The Secretary of Institute, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ir. Widjaja Martokusumo said that the given awards are part of ITB's continuous endeavor to spark the contribution of ITB towards significant development of Indonesia by creating a conducive working atmosphere.

“The process of awardees selection began when the certain lecturers were nominated by each Faculty/School, which later would be thoroughly observed and considered by the central committee to be eventually selected as an awardee,” he revealed.

This year, 55 lecturers have been awarded in four different fields, including 12 awardees of teaching field, 12 awardees of research field, 19 awardees of creation and innovation field and 12 awardees of institutional development field.

“These awards are given with hope that it can be a spark of ITB’s further advancement, as well as a motivation for all of us to enhance the spirit in creation for the sake of the nation,” remarked Prof. Widjaja.
