ITB Become Champion in "Designing Public Space Services in the Future" Competition
BANDUNG, itb. ac.id - Niraamaya Team from ITB successful to become 1st champion in Software Design competition held as a series of Arkavidia events, 2-4 April 2009. In this competition, students are challenged to complete the problems theme in "Future Public Service" and find a solution.
The process of registration has been opened since December 2008 and closed in March 2009. Proposal incoming filtered into four and the best software ideas presented in front of the jury, stakeholders, and spectators on 4 April 2009 at the Auditorium Campus Center (CC) ITB. The team that reach 1st place on this competition is Niraamaya (ITB) with the members: Herdyanto Soeryowardhana, Ibnu Hikam, Arga Dinata, and Fajar Zaki. 2nd champion for this competition is Team Building (UI) with the members: Anggi Wijaya, Adith Prasetya, Syarief Abdurrahman, and Fariz Darari. 3rd champion achieve by Digital Hedge Team (Bina Nusantara) with members: Panji Kharisma, Eko Mirhard, and Winardi Kurniawan.
In addition, there was also held the Programming Competition. The competition compete for logic and the ability of algorithm design with the solution in the form of problems. Participants are requested to complete problem solving that does not go through with the restrictions given. Registration opened since December 2008 and closed in March 2009.
In the elimination round, it has 30 teams selected as finalists from various universities. Thirtieth teams compete to solve this problem that was given on 4 April 2009, for 5 hours nonstop in the Laboratory Informatics ITB. The jurying time done automatically with a system that has been programmed. Competition results are as follows: 1st Champion achieved by Tim SleepingPanda (Bina Nusantara) with members: Eko Wibowo, Eko Mirhard, and Gunawan Lie. 2nd Champion achieved by Hemud Team(UI) with the members: Hendri Budianto and Denvil Prasetya. The 3rd champion achieved by Tim Bontor Humadong (ITB) with the members: Karol Danutama, Listiarso Wastuargo, and Gregory Kaluge Ronny.
The winner will get a cash prize: Rp 10,000,000.00 for 1stChampion, Rp 5,000,000.00 for 2nd champion, and Rp 3,000,000.00 for 3rd champion, and every teams that passes to the presentation stage, entitled to Microsoft (r) Visual Studio Team System and Microsoft (r) Expression ORIGINAL direct from Microsoft in the closing event Arkavidia.
