Jakarta, itb.ac.id - Udin Wiratno and Irwan Fahrudin, both MBA ITB students, and Wawan Dhewanto, lecturer of MBA ITB won the second place at a writing competition, category public, held in the framework of XL Competition Awards. Their winning was announced on XL Competition Awards awarding nights held in Jakarta, last Thursday (22/11). About 217 essay competed in the same category. The team wrote an article entitled, "Facing Competition in Cellular Phone Industry; Value Restructurization Based on Consumer Insight as Solution to Avoid Price War in Cellular Industry in Indonesia." The article was firstly published in Udin's blog, http://udin_wiratno.blogs.friendster.com. "Aim of XL Awards is to provide means for public and press to give contribution in form of ideas, critics, opinions, and concepts which related with communication in order to give valuable inputs for the sake of the development of telecommunication industries in Indonesia," said Hasnul Suhaimi, President Director XL, as what quoted in official website of the telecommunication company, that has official name PT Excelcomindo Pratama, Tbk. Board of adjudicator of the writing competition includes communication technology experts and lecturer of STEI ITB, Dr. Ir. Budi Rajarjo; Head of Telematics Society Indonesia, Ir. Maswigrantoro; and consultant and expert in planning and development of information technology, Dr. Ir. Richardus Eko Indrajit, MSc, MBA.
