BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) re-create a new breakthrough in the field of Science and Technology by making Cyber ​​Security at ITB Jatinangor. According to a national daily Indonesia, in 2012 Indonesia internet network countries have more than one million attacks. The attack consisted of data theft, falsification of data, alteration data (eg home page of the web site), phishing, leakage of data, industrial espionage, misuse of data by insiders, and other crimes. Yet in the same year all adult residents have entrusted their personal data is very important (such as address, year of birth, fingerprints, and corneas) into the cyber network for making E-KTP. This becomes a reason to build the first Cyber ​​Security in Indonesia. Besides the development of Cyber ​​Security Center, Indonesia also requires Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) is strong, which is manned hundreds or thousands of qualified full-time employees, as well as in the country - our neighboring countries.

Building Cyber ​​Security Center KOICA-Jatinangor ITB ITB campus was built on the building and its contents grants and training experts from the Korean government through KOICA (Korean International Cooperation Agency), worth Rp 55 billion. KOICA-ITB Building Cyber ​​Security Center will have three floors, consisting of an auditorium and exhibition on the 1st floor plaza, cyber security laboratory and research space on the 2nd floor, and a teaching and learning activities on the 3rd floor.
