Center of Halal Studies is a research center focused on halal products researches. Center of Halal Studies could support Majelis Ulama Indonesia through its laboratories to test the halal aspect of products and services with the help of many experts on halal product practice. Experts involved in halal research are experts in tourism, microbiology, nanotechnology and pharmacy. Center of Halal Studies mainly test food products, and also pharmaceutical and cosmetics products. Besides seminars, Center of Halal Studies' activities include contribution to international and national events and coordination with research activities done in other faculties and schools in ITB.
