New students will take part in the Joint Preparation Phase Program in the first year of lecture. This stage is a program to equalize the understanding of basic knowledge of ITB new students who come from various high schools in cities and regions, as well as to provide basic knowledge and solid skills so that students are ready to enter education in study programs that are of interest to students.
The first-year program also equips students with an introduction to campus life and the process of cultural adaptation from student to student, from instructional processes in high school to structured and independent learning, and the process of emotional maturation and behavior from adolescents towards adulthood, which used to living regularly in school to the life of students with a unique culture on campus.
