The Center for Defense and Security Technology of ITB is a place for R&D coordination to develop products and human resources that will be carried out through integrated programs. Self-reliance in defense and security technology is an integral part of national defense. With the condition of national defense equipment shopping which is still filled with imported products, Indonesia's national security is weakening. R & D activities are a way to spur improvement in the capability of domestic defense and security technology to achieve independence. By paying attention to the needs and developments of technology, cyber security can also be developed. Pustekhan aims to enhance research carried out by various institutions including at universities such as ITB that is nationally integrated in order to make progress.
