Kedutaan Besar Jepang di Jakarta telah menghadiahkan sejumlah jurnal dalam berbagai bidang serta buku-buku kepada UPT Perpustakaan ITB, sehubungan rencana kepindahan gedung Kedutaan Besar Jepang tersebut. Hadiah disampaikan melalui Dr.Suhardja D.Wiramihardja dari Departemen Astronomi.
