“Leveraging Indonesia Industry Toward Industry 4.0”
WHAT IS LANDSCAPE 2017?
LANDSCAPE 2017 is a seminar organized by Laboratorium Perencanaan dan Optimasi Sistem Industri ITB or in short LPOSI ITB. The seminar itself will carry a big theme of “Leveraging Indonesia Industry Toward Industry 4.0” and will be conducted in three sessions. The first session is about introduction to Industry 4.0 and its application in other developed country, which has been applying Industry 4.0. The second session is about current state of Indonesia industry and Indonesia readiness in facing Industry 4.0. The last session is about the attempt to leverage Indonesia Industry encountering Industry 4.0.
WHY IS LANDSCAPE 2017 HELD? As technology advances, Industry continues developing. From only using simple technologies to produce small amount of products to the era where network become vast and competitiveness is higher than ever, industries nowadays must be able to utilize big data and internet. That’s when Industry 4.0 come in to play. LPOSI ITB wanted to improve the awareness and understanding of people, especially for student, about the fourth Industrial Revolution (INDUSTRY 4.0) and making them become more adaptive to the future industrial condition. The seminar also aims to prepare Indonesia, especially industrial sector to face development and competing with other countries.
