IMPLEMENTATION MECHANISM

The details of the implementation mechanism of the program of Classes for Overseas Students are as follows:

  • This program is offered to overseas students only.  ITB Classes for Overseas Student program does not admit students of Indonesian nationality.
  • In order to be able to follow the education in ITB, through the Overseas Student Classes Program, applicants are required to apply by online submission link to the Directorate of Education of ITB/Direktorat Pendidikan ITB (attention: Kasubdit Penjaringan Mahasiswa).
  • The online application deadline is 8 June 2012 (second periode) .
  • Notification of application result will be announced at 29 June 2012 (second periode).
  • Registration period for successful applicants will be announced later.
  • This program is offered to first year student candidates and transfer students candidates.

Notes:

  • All students of the Classes for Overseas Student program will join the first year study (TPB level) in classes that use English as the language of instruction.
  • During the first year of study (TPB) students who choose the study programs that use Bahasa Indonesia as the language of instruction or classes which parts of the subjects will be conducted in Bahasa Indonesia and parts in English may join a course program of  Bahasa Indonesia for Non-native speakers or Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing   (BIPA). The course fee is included in the first year’s education fee or Biaya Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan (BPP)
  • In the second year, the students of Classes for Overseas Students will be  placed in the study program they choose, and they have to follow the courses with  the  language of instruction according to what are written on the table above. For the applicants who are admitted in the study programs of Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Management, parts of the courses will be delivered in Bahasa Indonesia and the rest will be in English.
