BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - ITB Students recently bring proud to their almamater again in the national programming competition. The competition is held by oil and gas industry service companies, Schlumberger, to develop plug-ins (extra tools) for homemade software, Petrel. The team members are Ahmad Syahputra, Ellena Saufika, Saladin Muhammad Islami, and Phillipus Ronnie Adisatrio from Geophysical Engineering Program, Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering (FTTM) ITB. They won second prize at Ocean Schlumberger Petrel Plug-In for Competition.

IIARC 2011: ITB Also Wins National Flying Robot Contest

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - Aerospace Engineering Student Association (KMPN) ITB in collaboration with Aeronautics and Astronautics Program Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (FTMD) ITB held another flying robot contest named "Indonesian Indoor Aerial Robot Contest (IIARC) 2011 "for the fourth time. The contest, which has received recognition from the Japan Society of Aeronautics and Space Sciences (JSASS) was held on Tuesday to Wednesday (15-16/11/11) in the Multipurpose Building ITB.

Bandung, itb.ac.id - Electrical Power Engineering Research Group in School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI) ITB once again held a public lecture entitled Control in Electrical Systems on Tuesday (06/12/11). Take place in the Multimedia Room STEI ITB, the public lecture presents Prof. Maurice Fadel and Prof. Anna Llor, researchers from the Laboratory on Plasma and Conversion of Energy (LAPLACE) INPT Research Group - University of Toulouse, France. 

Sumaryanto Widayatin Elected as Chairman of The Alumni Association of ITB for 2011-2015 Periode

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - Sumaryanto Widayatin has been elected as Chairman of the Alumni Association of Institut Teknologi Bandung (Ikatan Alumni ITB) after the election through e-voting system in the 8th congress that held on ITB campus, Saturday (03 / 12 / 11). Sumaryanto hold this mandate for 2011-2015 period. He won 3142 votes (38.19% of the total votes).

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - Starting from a dream about a city full of champions who always held changes to the works in the field of electrical engineering, Electrical Engineering Student Association (HME) ITB held an event called by Electrocity 2011. The event consists of a technopreneurship seminar and creation exhibition of electrical engineering student. The event was held at Grand Ballroom of Savoy Homann Hotel on Friday (12/02/11). This event is the culmination event of a 62nd anniversary HME ITB. In addition to seminars and exhibitions, there is also door prizes, musical entertainment, and appearance of the Marching Band Waditra Ganesha ITB.
