Satuan Penjaminan Mutu (SPM)

Satuan Penjaminan Mutu or SPM is the Quality Assurance Unit of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) that organizes the quality assurance processes for all programs and activities of ITB. The existence of SPM-ITB and its roles and responsibilities are prescribed by Articles 68 and 69 of ITB’s Bylaws or ART (Anggaran Rumah Tangga). The organization of SPM-ITB is dictated by the Rector’s Decree. At the level of faculties or schools, there are Quality Control Units termed Gugus Kendali Mutu or GKM. The GKM at faculty or school is responsible to to the respective Dean. There are also GKM at certain non-academic units such as GKM at ITB’s Innovation and Enterprises Development.
